Pesto Sauce
Pesto sauce is a sweet, garlic-flavored sauce which is commonly used in Italian cuisine. Most often thought of as a something to toss with pasta, it is also widely used in salads and seafood preparation. Cooks enjoy it with or without the company of cheese, with steamed vegetables or noodles, or as a spread with sandwich making. pesto has no cheese in it for those who prefer not to have it, but we invite you to add it to your recipe to taste. It is made with the most virgin olive oil which is imported from Israel. In our recipe, we use authentic, albeit costly, pine nuts and we proudly add our own organically grown basil.
